Hey! Here are some simple acts of kindness that anyone can do! Most of them are free so there's no excuse to not be kind! At Happiness and Health, we want everyone to 'improve their lifestyle' which includes being more positive. Often, positivity starts with a simple act of kindness from another person! x
Smile at someone.
Compliment someone.
Write someone a card/ note about why you are grateful for them.
When others succeed, don't be jealous. Instead, celebrate with them.
Do not exclude anyone.
Make sure everyone feels comfortable and is involved in conversations.
Make some cakes/ cookies for someone.
Buy someone a small gift (eg. a chocolate bar or candle).
Offer to help people
Be the first person to say sorry, even if you don't think you should be.
Keep your promises.
Don't gossip about others.
Say something nice about someone, behind their back!
Tidy a family member's room.
Bring a drink/ snack for someone nearby.
Leave an extra big tip for a waiter.
Donate to charity.
Send flowers to someone in a care home, who doesn't get many visitors.
Put change in a vending machine.
Remember to say thank you, even for the little things.
Forgive people.
Donate blood.
Wash someone's car for free!
Hold open the door for someone.
Call someone you haven't spoken to in a long time.
If you see somebody who is homeless, give them food and a drink.
Make some care packages.
Sponsor a child.
Sponsor an animal.
