I think that having a happy and healthy life is very important. You could achieve a lot but if you're unhappy, then what's the point? So, here are my top tips on how to have a happy and healthy life.
1. Set Goals
Achieving your goals feels amazing, but in order to achieve goals, you have to set them. So, every night write down a few goals. They could be small goals, set out a a to do list, or they could be lifetime goals.
2. Be Grateful for Everything
I know this sounds boring, but it could really be anything. Just looking ay a tree and admiring it's beauty can make you feel so happy. Remember things you are grateful for. You could write them down, too but just remembering them is the important part.
3. Acts of kindness
It could be a smile, a compliment or even a card. Make somebody , (be it a stranger you smile at or a member of your family) feel happy today. When you are kind, it makes you feel happy too.
4. Organisation
Being organised is so important. Wherever you are going to be spending your time, make sure its clean. Studies show that learning is more effective in a clean environment. As well as this, we just feel more happy overall if we are in a place that's tidy.
5. Happiness
Happiness NEEDS to be your main priority. You need to make sure you are feeling happy. If you're under pressure a lot, make a change to your life that will allow you to relax. Make yourself free time and make sure you are getting enough time to relax.
6. Rest
There is no replacement for rest. You need it. Aim for at least 8 hours of sleep each night. Sometimes it's hard to realise that some of your worries come from not getting enough sleep. See our article on 'The best night routine you NEED to have' for more information on getting a good sleep.
